Gearing up for the holidays

We had such a great Thanksgiving Day! We spent the day with family at my Uncle Ed and Aunt Cheryl's home. We saw a tom of family that we have not seen in a number of years. It was great. Ammon go to play with lots of cousins and he had a great time.
When we got home from dinner we were so excited about Christmas that we got out or tree and decorated it that night. We spent the next couple of days after Thanksgiving getting out all of our Christmas lights and decorations. Our home is fully decorated for the holidays but for some reason we both think that we could use some more lights.
Ammon is getting excited for Santa to come and he loves the lighted deer in the front yard. Every time he goes to the yard to see them he stands next to them and says, "Ho ho ho."
We took Ammon to see the lights at the temple on Tuesday night. He loves Christmas lights as much as DJ and I do, maybe even more. We took a walk around the neighborhood last night and checked out the lights while delivering invitations to the neighborhood Christmas party. Ammon could stand for hours in front of one house in our neighborhood that has a Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse that pop in and out of a package in the yard. He is enthralled with all the decorations.
DJ has been working a lot, I guess people get sick a lot during the winter months. Someone has to pay for our spending habits right? He stays busy to make sure we are taken care of. We are doing fantastic and are looking forward to our 6 year wedding anniversary that is coming up soon!
